All natural, clean beauty also means that sustainability and overall planet friendly approach are arbū`s ethos and mission. Sustainability is at the very essence of what we make and how we make it – our whole philosophy and raison d’etre.
We are constantly thriving to have zero carbon footprint that is why we fully recycle everything connected to our production – from the cardboard packaging that our ingredients come in to waste sorting in our office. Each small step matters.
Following our zero carbon footprint policy arbū developed Zero-Waste Lip Balms line as an innovative and creative way to be fully sustainable – the packaging is 100% recyclable and the content is totally organic and nature friendly. The history of these lip balms began with the sole creation of the brand. They were one of our first bestsellers, which convinced us that we are on the right way – creating products that come in 100% recyclable package and at the same time are fun to use and will brighten your day. If you accidentally loose your Zero-Waste Lip Balm don’t worry – nature will accept it back gladly as it is an organic part of it.
We do not stop here, we always go the extra mile. All packaging we use, not only the tubes of Zero-Waste balm is also 100% recyclable. The cardboard boxes that our products come in are made of paper certified by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC – external link: https://fsc.org/en) – assuring that it was harvested and manufactured in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Having the FSC label on our packaging means zero deforestation while producing the cardboard that hugs our products, safeguarding of ancient and endangered forests, fair wage and work environment and overall biodiversity preservation.
The glass jars and bottles, containing our skincare magic, are 100% reusable and recyclable and are specially designed to protect the organic content in them for the longest time possible. We strive to make natural products last longer, while maintaining a higher bio-energetic value. In other words, preserving their natural energy and goodness. Resulting in better quality natural products and a reduction in spoilage and plastic waste. The glass bottles we use are supplied by Miron Violetglass (external link: www.mironglass.com) and have unique bio-photonic quality that preserves the essence of natural products. This is achieved by harnessing the unique powers of the sun’s rays – allowing the positive rays in, while keeping the harmful rays out.
A step further is skipping the so popular cellophane wrapping, which reduces the overall carbon footprint of arbu`s production. And the final touch to our sustainability approach is the fact that we do not produce printed catalogs and any brochure materials. We are 100% clean and digital.
